Lyrics: Today was the day we cried till our tears were dry, I watch you stand on the shore line looking out across the water. The wind blows softy, I walk up behind you and hold you tight. You asked me to never let go, you asked me to never leave your side, To be with you through everything. You look so lost as I hold you, you look out to the water with such beauty that God could only create. We watch the waves crash the shores, I turn to kiss your cheek only for you to fade from my arms, now I stand alone looking across this endless look out of wonder. Today was the day we cried till the tears were cry, my body is numb, my mind is frozen, my heart lay in pieces. I look down too see you lay so beautiful in your casket, we cried a thousand times, we watched the tears slowly dry up. As I cry staring at your grave stone I wish I had one last moment with you, one last word, just one moment to stand on the shore line with you in my arms, to watch the waves crash in front of us.
