Created in 2006 by Osman Jr, SETENTA consists of a real live band of 7 musicians based in Paris, using their musical background and unstoppable eagerness to produce a unique mix of Latin Soul, Funk and Boogaloo with a touch of Caribbean influences.
After a sparkling career on the Latin scene with their first album FUNKY TUMBAO (Hot Casa records - 2010) and the further LATIN PIECE OF SOUL (Hot Casa records - 2013), inviting latin soul legend and FANIA artist JOE BATAAN in Paris and Jazz à Vienne, opening for ROY AYERS at New Morning (Paris), playing for ERYKHA BADU's after show in Amsterdam, invited in several festival as Jazz à Juan, Kaunaz Jazz Festival in Lituania, Black is Back in Madrid, Cultura Inquieta in Getafe (spain), Galway (Ireland) ... SETENTA will soon release his third album, giving to the world a modern definition of latin soul, latin funk and boogaloo, strengthening the link between Paris, New-York, Caribbean and South America
