The world premiere of The Caged Bird Sings by Mason Bates was given by concert pianist Tania Stavreva and took place at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage on June 30th, 2016. On this video is a performance from the The Marc A. Scorca Recital Hall at the National Opera Center in New York, NY on Oct. 27th, 2016.
