Following on from the success of BBC series 'Tutti Frutti' which featured Tam as the voice of Big Jazza, life briefly imitated art giving the Dexters some welcome recognition. This was a BBC News insert with possibly the only film clip of Tam doing what he did best - hacking away at a lump of rock! And this also may be the only footage of the Dexters to include our best-loved backing vocalist - the one and only Liz McEwan... and a very young Brian Kellock in his first pro gig on leaving University!
