Hey Everyone! The time has finally come to share the “BIG NEWS” that we have been telling you about for some time now that has been on the horizon now for several weeks! Myself, JK Nick Nichols and my great friend and co-writer Bob Pennington, former staff writer with Warner-Chappell Music here in Nashville have been blessed with the most incredible song that mere words cannot begin to describe the anointing we have received from writing it. Our new song, “THINK PINK”, a song of hope and encouragement, launching worldwide today, has been selected to be used as part of the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s fight against Breast Cancer. Statistics show that over 1.77 MM new cases of Breast Cancer were diagnosed worldwide in 2012. Every two minutes, a case of breast cancer is diagnosed in a woman in the U.S. The American Cancer Society's estimates for breast cancer in the United States for 2015 are that approximately 230K plus new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women, also 60K plus new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed (CIS is non-invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer), and that unfortunately some 40K + women will die from breast cancer each year. In 2015, there are more than 2.8 million women with a history of breast cancer in the U.S. This includes women currently being treated and women who have finished treatment . “THINK PINK”, recorded by Nashville Superstar and former Sony BMG Recording artist Tammy Cochran is a song of hope and encouragement in the battle to research and fight this deadly disease. Tammy’s “Angels in Waiting”, a song written by her, and Nashville #1 hit co-writers Jim McBride and Stewart Harris in memory of her two brothers who she lost to Cystic Fibrosis went all the way to #9 on the Hot Country Billboard Charts in the early 2000’s.
