Tammy Allen is a girl who has always stayed well focused and determined on what she wanted out of life—a singing career.
Tammy began writing her first song at eleven and learning to play guitar. Singing first in church, talent shows, and state competitions, she began gaining recognition for her vocal abilities- fast. Opening for "Sha Na Na" at the mere age of thirteen, she was "scouted" by AMI Records in Tennessee. With a voice well beyond her years, she has performed and recorded in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Baton Rouge, Atlanta, Houston, Las Vegas, and New Orleans. She was chosen by "Motown in Detroit" as one of Detroit's hottest new singers to watch for. Electra records (NYC) once offered Tammy a pop deal when she was 21, but the label folded to Time/Warner. Though not defeated, Tammy has participated in various charitable benefits as well as performing The National Anthem for U.S Congressmen, Senators, and State Legislators on an ongoing basis.
Appearing on national television in November 2004 gave Tammy tremendous exposure. She won 1st place competing against singers from all over the U.S. for Party Tyme karaoke in Las Vegas, NV. She then went on to sign a contract (non-exclusively) with one of Michigan's top leading talent agencies THE TALENT SHOP/Bingham Farms, MI as a singer and model. She appeared in the 2006 movie "Crossover" filmed in Detroit, MI as well as featured National Anthem singer for the Little League World Series Games, 2008. Tammy was asked to sing again for the 2009 Series. No stranger to the press, she has been featured in numerous entertainment magazines, and newspaper articles.
Tammy currently resides in Nashville, TN - is a small business owner, and works as a demo singer/recording artist.
The world holds so much for this vivacious girl who writes and has a phenomenal vocal range. Her recent demos combine a powerful vocal performance with a traditional country sound. Her sultry, honest voice is currently capturing the heart of America's attention. Still, the dream remains the same.
