A video for http://fenderguru.com demonstrating five fundamental tricks to tweak a Fender amp and guitar to a tone machine.

1) Tune down to Eb and use heavier strings to darken the single coil guitar tone.

2) Pull V1 12AX7 tube for more preamp gain and fatter tone.

3) Replace V6 12AT7 with a 12AX7 for lower clean headroom.

4) Disengage one speaker for lower volume and less clean headroom.

5) Optionally, tremolo disconnect for more preamp gain and fatter tone. This requires replacing the trem pot.
