DESCRIPTION:
This song was performed live with the Band Kick The Limit in 1994. We were a so called Funk-Rock-Band and had some success in our region around Ingolstadt/Germany. Basically, this was a song idea of mine. Then we worked out the details together i.e. each member of the band contributed something to it and gave the song its special flavor.

Definitely, those years were a time to remember. We had so much fun back then. The boys will surely recall all those rehearsals when we were casting so many singers (mostly wannabees). We named ourselves SÜV (in german it stands for "SängerÜberwachungsVerein" and this refers to the german TÜV, which is the "Technische Überwachungsverein", that is responsible for checking and controlling the cars in germany.) Accordingly, we would "check" the singers - what a task to perform ;-).

Finally, when we already had given up hope, a young girl showed up and swept off our feet when she started singing. Her name was Inga Heckmann (www.ingaheckmann.de). She joined us and stayed for a few months. We couldn't hardly believe our luck. Then, another band "discovered" her and made her an offer, she could not refuse. After that, we "reanimated" our SÜV and tried very hard to find a substitute for her. Sadly, there was no other like her. Thus, we decided to give up Funkrock and become an ordinary Cover Band with a male singer. We had more gigs and earned more money but the feeling and the fun was never the same. That's why this band finally ended up inevitably.
