SuperJam 2013: Larry Graham sings Sly & The Family Stone | Ep. 6 | Bonnaroo - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 26, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
A legendary figure in music history, Larry Graham enters the 2013 Rock and Soul SuperJam picture like a ton of bricks. He's revered by the rest of the all-star band but also an intimidating figure with a strong vision. As a founding member of Sly and the Family Stone, Larry redefined funk bass playing and helped revolutionize ensemble singing in pop music. The plan for Larry's portion of the show was a group singalong with everyone onstage contributing vocals to classic songs such as "Hot Fun In The Summertime" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Agin)". Will this be the highlight of the set as Jim James and John Oates had envisioned or a train wreck that will derail the SuperJam?
