Broken Complex Presents: "The State of the Union" (Make Rap Great Again) Contest

Welcome to our first Themed Rap Contest hosted by Broken Complex! Our first theme is, "THE STATE OF THE UNION." This means, we want to know how YOU feel about the current global events taking place right now. This does not mean it has to be about America specifically, we want to hear about what's going on everywhere. So if you live outside the U.S. - you can rap about what's going on in your neck of the woods, or about what's going on here. The topic is fairly wide open too - it doesn't necessarily have to be about politics. It could be about police brutality, or the prison system, or feminism - basically anything that is currently going on in the world today that is shaping the way we live, think, and act.

This is your chance to showcase your skills and get some steam off, while rapping over professional beats made by top producers! Winners will be selected from our panel of judges, including Dj Hoppa, Gavlyn, and Dj Silly Kid. Judging will be be based on:

1) Creativity

2) Technical flow

3) Staying on topic

4) Overall "vibe"

Our personal political beliefs will NOT be factored into the judging - ALL OPINIONS ARE WELCOME and will be listened to with open ears. Who knows, maybe you'll even change the way we already feel about something.
