The hotly tipped production duo of Noa Romana & Deersky return to Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's Mistique Music imprint this week for a follow single to their 'Endless Future' from March of 2012. Noa and Deersky are doing it right and keeping the production quality high. From their first release on Underground City Music through to their remixes for Mistique and Deepsessions to their recent 'Metamorphosis' single for the new Sound Avenue sub label Crossfade Sounds Noa and Deersky are keeping the quality extremely high and avoiding taking on too many projects. Their new single for Mistique is entitled 'Phoras' and it comes with a top notch selection of remixes from: Exoplanet, Loquai, Simon Firth and Universal Solution.

The 'Phoras' original begins with a wonderful drifting atmosphere and very well textured beats. A wickedly drummy groove soon forms with the with the wispy panoramic soundscape creating the perfect backdrop. A synth lead along with some pixie like bells lead the track to the main drop where a magical stretch of serene and emotional vibes are captured perfectly. The spacey atmospheric climax heightens the senses amazingly well and should deliver an invigorating feeling to your dance floor. It's another very unique composition from Noa and Deersky that puts a very impressive notch on their discography. The first remix is supplied by Exoplanet who has just come off great outings on Baires, Proton, Particles and Mistique. The Dutch producer is returning to Mistique for his 6th appearance here and he's delivered a top notch remix of 'Phoras'. Backed by a rumbling, acidic groove Exoplanet's hypnotic lines, subtle melodies and swirling atmospherics surround the piece for an exhilarating peak time climax that proves to be one of his best yet. Next up is the UK's Simon Firth who is making his 7th appearance on Mistique here and has had great outings recently on Sleepless Nights, OLD SQL and Green Snake. Simon's 'Phoras' interpretation is a steady builder that flows effortlessly as countless atmospheres, hypnotic lines and intricate electronic accents build around the piece as it reaches the drop. Here a smooth set of chord changes pushes the emotional envelope before those grinding synths come back to the forefront for a gorgeous melodic finish. One of the most storied and long standing Mistique artists is next; Loquai is making his 58th appearance on Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic's imprint here and his cool brand of progressive house continues to impress. A punchy deliberate beat pattern that's surrounded by one of Loquai's massive character laden bass line's sits at the root of the composition as an abundance of cool electronics dance around the groove. The break presents the unmistakable synth hook from the original and a gorgeous combination of processed pianos and hazy bells. It's a brief drop and the thunderous groove is rolling again quickly towards a long climax that's going to go down so well in the heart of the night. The package is closed out with Universal Solution who is making his debut on Mistique here. Gavin Holland aka Universal Solution hails from the UK and has long has a gorgeous atmospheric genre defying sound. His interpretation of 'Phoras' shows this perfectly with a deep and broad electronica rework that comes with fresh vocal samples, soft stabs, warm bass tones and classically styled hypnotic lines. A brilliant package from Mistique with every mix delivering something great here, easily one of the labels best releases this year.
