Here's my rendition of one of the first Bach pieces I ever adapted for solo bass guitar. the Prelude from Cello Suite 1. I've been playing this tune on and off for years, so I'm happy to finally take time to record it for you guys. I hope you enjoy it!

Learning Bach on electric bass is a great exercise for stretching your technique, since his music wasn't written for our tuning. Cellists have access to a lot more range within a position, so playing the cello music requires a lot of shifting on a bass guitar tuned in fourths (standard tuning). And even more so with the Bach violin music!

Thanks for listening, and if you're curious about learning bass you should check out my beginner course! - https://www.bassbuzz.com/lessons/beginner/?ref=2
