Logic Pro X - EQ Sweep/"Whoosh" Sound Tutorial - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 22, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Disregard the whole “Demo Mode” thing (I don’t have $99 to drop on the proper ScreenFlow, so hopefully y'all can look past the watermark haha)

tl;dr:
Basically,
1. Go to Master > Add a Channel EQ
2. Turn Master to “Read”
3. Go to Master's track and press “A” to bring up Automation
In Automation Menu:
4a. Channel EQ > High Cut On/Off > Turn on when you want effect to start
4b. Channel EQ > High Cut Frequency > Sweep from starting Hz to whatever Hz you want to stop at (20,000Hz usually)
4c. Channel EQ > High Cut Q Factor (I like to go from 7 to ~3-4 usually)
Optional:
In Automation Menu: Main > Mute (drop out everything right before dropping back in - can sound really cool on certain tracks)
Add an Uplifter sound (you can find a ton of free sampled ones online) to really emphasize your filter sweep
Remember: This is just a quick tutorial, so play around with the settings until you dial in a sound you really like

I hope that this helps you guys out!

Peace,
Zak
