Peavey Bandit 65 Speaker Upgrade - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 01, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
This is a mid-1980's Peavey Bandit 65. I swapped out the old Scorpion for a new Eminence The Governor. Very nice, noticeable improvement in sound. Sounds and behaves better than many tube amps and modern modelling amps. Highly recommended.

Unscrew the amp box from the top and extract to free up room to push out the front screen from the super velcro type connections. Screw the amp back in. The predrilled holes line up with the Eminence speaker. The T-Nuts are readily available at Home Depot as is the 10 X 32 screws in case one or two got stripped. Once screw stripped and I used a new brass screw and Sharpied the top black to match the originals. The screws are held in with t-nuts.

I actually have been using this amp at open mics lately with my Foxrox Hot Silicon pedal. Amazing spectrum of sound from clean to massive fuzz.
