Question; Why do these record labels continue to push these weak/gimmicky artists? Why does the radio continue to support this watered down/commercialized
music? You hear it on every corner, every block, every street and hood "The rap game is dead." What happened to that real hip hop, that hard hitting rap music that kept you wanting more and more? Why must you settle as a listener.
Answer: You don't! Them Korna Res boys are in the building, bout to kidnap this rap game and drop it off on the industry's doorstep in a bodybag.
Welcome to Brooklyn, New York. Home of the late great B.I.G., Jay Z, Big Daddy Kane, etc. and soon to be mentioned in the same breath Korna Res. If you haven't heard of them, now will be the time to do your research.
Korna Res (short for Corner Residents) is an up and coming rap/hip hop group straight out of Gunset Park, Brooklyn. The group consists of three
members/artists; Robbie Shades, P.Network and Rico Spitnyce(WARNING!!! choose your poison wisely) All members are capable going toe to toe with the best in the game. Murdering tracks with hard hitting rhymes that would make even the Son of Sam say DAMN! Although the three members have been rapping for awhile, they only recently started to take their music abilities to the next level. Listening to the voice of the streets and finally realizing they were just wasting their god giving talents, them Korna Res boys are all business now. From rhyming on the corners to shutting down some of the most notable hip hop spots, Club SOB's Hot 97 Who's Next night, Club Southpaw, Poetry Club, Club Rothco, etc., They even did their thing for Uncle Ralph Mcdaniels at Club Cafe Remy which was televised on VMB (Video Music Box).
Last year the group dropped their much anticipated video for their hard hitting/spitting track called "Stop Crying" which puts the industry on notice and lets everyone know that they are a force to be reckon with.have a listen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5Yh7HFbQPc) Told you that they aint no joke. But don't think Korna Res is one of these one dimensional rap groups or rappers that track after track sounds the same. You can be the judge of that yourself (http://soundcloud.com/korna_res Korna Res shows off their versatility on the song "Touch" featuring Robyn Spree. This song is more radio friendly and captures the main stream rap ear with out crossing over. Street raps, club bangers, hardcore, you name, they got it. Korna Res has a wide variety of music that will appeal to every demographic. They are true artists in the game. So if your sick of what the radio stations/industry has been force feeding youThen Korna Res is your alternative, your escape.tell a friend to tell a friend Them Rezzy boys is here, Hip Hop Is Back!
