Guitarfish are a mixture between rays and sharks. Their broad, guitar-shaped body is responsible for both its name and its ray-like qualities, where their long narrow tail emulates that of a shark. They typically feed on the bottom of shallow ocean floors and travel in large schools. In this piece of music you can hear the scuttling and gliding of the guitarfish along the sand beds as it searches for crustaceans and mollusks to eat.
