Perspectives Digital's first release of 2013 is a truly international effort, combining the talents of producers from Russia, Israel, Turkey, and India. Russian producer Aidar Davlethanov aka D-Eye began his career in 2004, and since then has emerged as one of the most promising names in recent memory. His songwriting ability was formally acknowledged in 2011 when he was named the winner in Bastards of Funk & Sonic Union's remix competition for Lowbit Records. D-Eye's debut single for Perspectives is entitled 'Pulse' and it comes with remixes from Magitman, Subsky and Praveen Achary & Vipul.

The 'Pulse' original is a pristinely produced piece of deeper progressive house. A gorgeous set of warm, round bass tones forms and incredibly groovy bass line early on in the record, As the track builds the surrounding atmospheric and electronic accents complement the groove perfectly. The magic moment though is the bubbly chord changes, once they get dropped in expect a big reaction from your dance floor.

Igal Magitman from Israel has proven that even in the increasingly saturated and competitive scene, one can still shine and rise above the rest with enough stamina and raw talent. From the sleeves of labels like Toolroom, 1605, Spinnin, Global Underground, and Renaissance, he has catapulted himself to a level that so many aspiring producers strive to achieve. For his 'Pulse' interpretation Magitman chopped up many of the smoother more atmospheric elements from the original and crafted a pumping tech house rework that's full of wicked vocal stabs and should go down huge on a broad range of floors.

Turkish maestro Goktug Citci, better known as Subsky, rose to fame in 2001 when his track 'Four Days' made an appearance on Paul van Dyk's landmark 'Politics of Dancing' compilation. Fast forward to 2003 and his trademark blend of melancholic, melodic, and groovy sounds resulted in 'Strawberry Fields', a track which Nick Warren included in his 'Global Underground: Reykjavik' compilation. Subsky's 'Pulse' remix comes with a slightly deeper vibe that still retains the great feel of the original while opening the track up for more deep house DJs to play. We've been huge fans of Subsky for over a decade now and it's great to see him on Perspectives here.

Last but not least, Praveen Achary & Vipul become the first producers from India to sign with Perspectives Digital. As a sign of their dedication, the two traveled between Bangalore and New Delhi to complete the collaboration. They represent the new age of musicians that is pioneering electronic dance music within the giant land of 1.2 billion people. With releases on Outside The Box, Maktub, and Mirabilis already under their belts, we should expect to see the demand for these two steadily increase throughout the year. It's looks like the duos dedication really paid off as it's the highest charting mix one the package, currently sitting at no.14 in our overall Release Promo Hype Chart. Praveen and Vipul have created another production that really blurs genres quite well. Rooted with a deep, rolling bass line a powerful groove is formed early on while the atmospheric content of the record continues to build. The main break showcases those great chord changes from the original but with an added twist that's sure to raise some goose bumps on your dance floor. Perspectives Digital really nailed it with this release, everything here sounds fabulous. Highly recommended. Release Promo Hype Chart #10
