DESCRIPTION:
This is the Striking Distance "Fail Me" Music video Directed by Joseph Pattisall. We did this in Super 8mm one afternoon in the lot where the old 9:30 club used to be at 930 F street NW Washingotn D.C. There was a Bush protest going on that day and the police tried to shut us down but we had gone about this right and applied for permits with the film office. We showed the police the permits and they left quietly and the outside hardcore show in the middle of downtown D.C. raged on.
The band requested that Dennis die in the video so I filmed some scenes of Dennis committing suicide. The entire time we shot that portion Dennis kept asking me what it was to be used for but I refused to tell him. He had no idea it was for the Striking Distance video until I showed him the final thing many months later.
