DESCRIPTION:
'Street Literature' is a song and music video that was sparked by the killing of Trayvon Martin and the George Zimmerman verdict. The project was created by youth here at RYSE to respond to the pain, frustration and anger that was triggered by this tragic incident.

Please join us next Tuesday, September 24th, as we premiere the music video and gather to honor the life of Trayvon and other young people taken from us too soon.

Who: All are welcome! Richmond residents, community partners, family, friends, etc.

What: The video premiere of "Street Literature" (FREE, All Ages, food included, featuring a few words from the director, Gemikia Henderson, and a Special Thanks to the artists including Kai Jewel$, Peeps, Young D, Don Blak, Black Geisha, and Simply Nicole)!!!

When: Tuesday, September 24th, 6:00-7:00pm

Where: Here at the RYSE Center, 205 41st St., Richmond, CA

Why: Because we are all Trayvon Martin and our lives matter
