DESCRIPTION:
Start the Art is a digital gallery space without walls curated by punk folklorist, educator, drummer, and writer David Ensminger. This volume features Really Red -- the infamous Houston, TX punk band. The ephemera was culled from the archives and photography of Ensminger. In addition, the photography collections amassed by Ben DeSoto and Dixon Coulbourn were also utilized. The songs include "Too Political?" and "Teaching You the Fear" from the album Teaching You the Fear, on CIA Records,1981, which was subsequently reissued on Empty Records in 2004 and will be reissued again by Alternative Tentacles in the near future.
