Scarlatti - Sonata K. 343 in A major (Allegro andante) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 08, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
This sonata has a strange tempo indication. Mostly people take Allegro's very fast and Andantes rather slow. But here it lookes, as if the two indications aren't contrasts. I hear mostly that a lot of players (pianists as well as harpsichordists) take the Allegro's too fast and the Andantes too slow. Mostly, I choose the golden mean. I play this nice sonata on an organ, built by the Dutch organ builder Reil. Info: www.gerardvanreenen.nl
