STRANGEBIRD plays their 3rd show!!!
This show was a Benefit Concert that was part of a Breast Cancer Fundraiser.
The Fundraiser was called "Cruise for Boobs-120 Miles for a Cure". Jack Staley and I (Joey Curry, Drummer) are part of an organization called Thats A Tripp and we Skateboard long distances to raise money for good reasons!! The day after this show we skated from NYC to Atlantic City.
This show raised us $350 and the whole Fundriaser raised $1100 for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Thats $100 past our goal!!!
Mario and I of Strangebird were lucky enough to share the stage with The Red Hots outta CT and Heather and The Heathens, another local NYC band, along with super funny Comedians Glenn Francis, Marisol Cheng, Chewy May and Tiana Miller.
