In part one of a four-part video interview with Steve Wilson, the saxophonist talks about his first instrument and his early music education, both formal and informal. The interview was taped during The Jazz Cruise 2013, during which Wilson performed as an "All-Star" in a variety of configurations, from small groups to big bands.
