Don't let vinyl be a bubble! If you want to keep this hobby alive in the 2020s, we need more pressing plants. Here's how to come up with the money to start your own (and it costs you nothing except your time):

I can walk you through. Have a computer and time, will travel. Something of a sad coincidence here.

So some of you YouTubers - those who've been subscribed to my channel for at least two years now - may be well aware of my admiration for the criminally underrated power pop music of Stories. I had their album About Us for a while on here when nobody else had the entire thing uploaded, until Sony Music decided to block the video worldwide (a shame)...

While I was on a trip to Michigan with my dad, after having tried to seek out a vinyl copy of the band's utterly gorgeous debut album for so long, I got so damn happy to have finally located one at a reasonable price at UHF Music in Royal Oak.

Little did I know that the passing of Michael Brown - keyboardist/principal songwriter - and key driving force behind the melodic pop-rock magic of Stories - would come just a few days later, and to be frank, his departure makes the more delicate songs on this album even more tear-jerking....sad to know this, becuase the music of Stories has played a very important role in the development and expansion of my musical tastes for the past few years.

Here's a little tribute to the wonderful and talented Brown, with what I think is one of the most beautifully-composed things he's ever done in his career - may he rest in peace.
