DESCRIPTION:
At around 2:33 there's a story about how Lorren and Florian's long time friend Local DJ/musician Pat Cadigan (R.I.P.) always had a smile for you and that Pat would give advice about smiling/laughing and how it will make you live longer if you smiled/laughed too. Then at around 2: 50 Florian has everyone laugh out loud. Nice legacy for Pat Cadigan to leave and a nice tribute to him by Florian as well.

I started playing drums for the 90 year old " Swinging Senator " on January 18th, 2017 . The songs and music are somewhat of a new dimension for me but it's all good when I get the opportunity to play music with two confident seasoned professionals such as Senator Chmielewski & Betty that have been playing polka music for over a half a century, you suddenly realize your heart is in a happy place. I must say that it is a great honor to play music with these fine folks...so let's everybody, Polka!!!

Not to mention..... How about them dancers!!
There are some great dancers that frequent the senior dance that make the senior dance...a real hoot! So, here's a big thank you to one and to all for showing us just what it is to...really have fun. Dick (In the checkered shirt) and Joyce Carlson what a delight these two were. I got to tell this story about them. They would always, never failed at every dance I played at. They made it a habit of coming up to the drums dancing together making sure they had got my attention, stopping slightly on their way by. Joyce would blow me a kiss while Dick gave me the proverbial pumping of the arm with the thumbs up signal like he's at the bowling alley and had just bowled a strike motion! Man I just loved to see that so much!!!! Way too endearing for words I gotta say.Thanks everyone!
