This is my cover of Pantera's Fucking Hostile. Rex Brown is one of my favourite bass players of all time. Amazing chops, great groove and awesome tones. Vulgar Display of Power is one of my favourite metal records and quite possibly the best debut follow up ever. I was planning to cover the five first tracks of the record back to back but decided to go with my favourite instead. This song is brutal, fast but also really groovy. The guitar playing is awesome and the drumming is super-tight but what drives the song is Philip Anselmo's vocals. Not only the delivery is super intense but actually the lyrics are GREAT. SERIOUSLY, LOOK THEM UP NOW!!! Please note that I do not play the original bass lines but my interpretation of them. I do not own any rights from the music and this serves only as a tribute to the original artist.
