Wer hätte das gedacht?
Als wir uns im Februar 1995 trafen, das erste Mal probten, Demoaufnahmen machten… Das es Say Y 20 Jahre später immer noch gibt….?!
Wir möchten uns mit diesen Momenten und digitalisierten Erinnerungen bei Euch bedanken, bei allen, die uns auf unserem Weg begleitet haben.
Es war nicht einfach. Verschiedene Cams, das meiste Material auf VHS-Kassetten aus der originalen Zeit der Aufnahmen...
Alter Videorecorder… alles digitalisieren… Entschuldigt deshalb bitte die Qualität!!! Und dann, aus 20 Jahren ein möglichst nicht zu langes Stück Video basteln….
Sicher wird der Eine oder Andere jetzt sagen: “dies oder das hätte man weglassen können”…. Das kann man immer sagen… :P Aber auch besonders für uns selbst sind es Erinnerungen, Werte und Momente, die nicht so einfach wegzuwerfen sind…. Eher fehlen noch so einige schöne Momente, die wir gerne noch zur Verfügung gehabt hätten!!!
Wie lange wird es Say Y noch geben?
Tja, wer weiß das schon…? Auf jeden Fall arbeiten wir an einem neuen Album. Ein Stück anders als gewohnt, aber dennoch wird es Say Y bleiben. Es wird „ Valleys End Hills“ heißen und wir hoffen, es wird im Herbst soweit sein, das ihr es komplett hören könnt… ;)

When we met in February 1995, the first time rehearsing, demo recordings made ... That's it, 20 years later are still Say Y ....?!
We want to thank you with these moments and digitized memories, all of you who have accompanied us on our way.
It was not easy. Different Cams, most of the material on VHS tapes from the original time of the photography.

Everything had to be digitized ... Excuse therefore the quality !!! And then, out of a possible 20 years not long piece of video tinker ....
Sure is one or the other now say "this or that could have been omit" .... One can always say ... :p
But especially for ourselves it's memories, values and moments that are not so easy to throw away … More are still missing quite a few beautiful moments that we would have liked still available !!!
How long will Say Y yet? Well, who knows ...? In any case, we are working on a new album. A piece different than usual, but it will remain Say Y. It calls "Valleys End Hills" and we hope it will be ready in the fall, which can you hear it completely ... ;)
