Steven Grier is a Producer/Singer/Songwriter who has been creating music since the age 16. He began producing music for local rappers in Phoenix, AZ. These experiences allowed him to develop his style and perfect his craft. He then continued to pursue his passion for music and enrolled in the Conservatory Of Recording Arts and Sciences. "Going to the Conservatory made me look at music with a new perspective, I look at it as a ceiling-less medium to express music as I hear it, and record it in a way that everyone can hear it like I do." After graduating, he went on to complete his internship at the Blakeslee Recording Company where he was thrown into the mix of the music industry and where his current style of producing developed. There he was also able to take note on how to mold himself into a better artist using his singing and writing skills simultaneously. Working under Producer/Artist Raphael Saadiq, he was able to learn how he could enhance his sound through percussion and mixing skills he acquired at the conservatory. He was also noted for saying that watching Raphael, along with other artists recording have helped him attain his own recording style to where he can write as little as possible and record from the heart.
