DESCRIPTION:
A so-called tone poem in one movement. This composition by Steven Reineke tells the story of the lives of twin sisters, Helena and Sibylla, born in Germany in 1588. The sisters were separated at birth, one going through life as a witch and the other as a saint. The composer has used a variety of musical styles to illustrate the turbulent lives of the two sisters. One of the most famous works of Steven Reineke has been now arranged by Erik Rozendom.
