DESCRIPTION:
From the back of the room she aligns with the moon
And declares that she won't go to bed
I tell you she was born with dead leaves in her hair
So I wait for an hour for the things
She does in the heat of the sun to kick in
Get her to the door
She grabs a road rocket
& someone else's shoes
"Let's get on with this,
but don't take me home,
what were you thinking?"
And the air circulates and her blood circulates
Through a thousand veins I'll never name
I tell you she was born with branches in her arms
She stops on the road and the fields start to burn
She tells me her molecules hurt
Turns into pure light
But then she spills her
Road rocket on
Someone else's shoes
"Let's get on with this..."
