This track is a little bossa nova, a little samba, and a lot of smooth and funky.

In my view, Steve Laury is one of the most recognizable jazz guitarists today. Originally from Vineland, NJ, he was one of the founding members of the San Diego-based group Fattburger and, along with Keyboardist Carl Evans, Jr., helped to give the group its unmistakable southern California smooth jazz sound that was prevalent on radio throughout the 1980s and beyond. To my knowledge he has only 4 solo CDs, but I hope he is able to produce more great music in the near future. Enjoy!
