Canciones de Cuna" is a musical project by the argentinian non profit organization "Casa de la Cultura de la Calle", created by Gastón Pauls in 2004. It provides to childrens various activities and art workshops as theater, music and visual arts.
This project stems from children and young people between 6 and 21, who attended the artistic activities of the institution. "The proposal was to write texts, songs , ideas, stories related to their dreams, what ever they sang, what they would like to sing to their children. Something simple, small, a lullaby "says executive producer of the album, Nicolas Pauls .
Different artists where invited to give life with his music to these texts.
Renowned local and international musicians participated in this second album "CANCIONES DE CUNA II": Miguel Mateos, Fabiana Cantilo, Martín Buscaglia, Steve Hogarth, Moreno Veloso, Chango Spasiuk feat. Lorena Astudillo, Mark Kozelek, Sie7e, Liliana Herrero, Jorge Serrano, Tito Losavio, Wayne Hussey, Ale Sergi, and Dado Villalobos.
Grisino helps in this new edition of “Canciones de Cuna” supporting the production and marketing of the CD.
All proceeds from the sale of the album is intended to finance activities of "Casa de la Cultura de la Calle".
