Learning You By Heart is a wonderful original song by Stephen and it's also the title track of his upcoming album Learning You By Heart.

This song was co-written with the author Gavan Daws http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavan_Daws who wrote the best selling history of Hawaiʻi, Shoal of Time and Holy Man (about St. Damien) as well as many others.

Stephen tells us, "After discovering Dennis Kamakahi and my album, Waimaka Helelei, Gavan approached me to collaborate.

Learning You By Heart was one of our first efforts. Gavan put new lyrics to an older melody of mine. A heart warming love story that I find easy to sing."
