About the creation of "Rhombal," the first album by this quartet, featuring Ellery Eskelin (tenor saxophone), Adam O'Farrill (trumpet), Tyshawn Sorey (drums), and Stephan Crump (acoustic bass) which arrived September 13, 2016 on the Papillon Sounds label and is dedicated to my late brother, Patrick M. Crump. Thank you for checking this out and for supporting our efforts by picking up the album, if you're feeling it.
Recorded on January 20-21, 2016 by Aaron Nevezie and assistant Todd Carder at The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, NY. Mixed by Ron Saint Germain. Mastered by Scott Hull. Art and design by Andy Friedman. Videography and photography by Craig Marsden. Album originally funded by our generous supporters via PledgeMusic pre-order campaign.
