Jenine Vaughan - Gipsy Man (Gypsy Man) - Australian Country Music. - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 15, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Since it's inception in 1979, the Tamworth Starmaker Talent Quest has been the launching pad for many Australian Country Music careers.

Some winners have gone onto greatness...for instance, it was won in 1990 by Keith Urban...and, Lee Kernaghan took out the honours way back in 1982.
Other winners who've gone on to long careers include Beccy Cole, James Blundell and Gina Jeffreys.

Not every winner, though, has gone on to be a household name...
...which brings me to the 1988 winner, Jenine Vaughan.

From memory, Jenine worked in the TV industry before winning Starmaker...and, from what I can gather, she eventually resumed her television career.

This 45 was part of Jenine's prize for winning Starmaker.
It was released in 1988 by RCA Records, 104924.
Jenine wrote the A. side herself.
The flipside was "Queit Love", written by Graeme Connors.
I have also uploaded the flipside to YouTube.

This upload is from the original 45.
