Spliff Lighty was born & raised on the South Side of Worcester Massachusetts, stretching from East to West. East Side being the Grafton St. Hamilton St. Dorchester St. and West being Main South Chandler & Webster Sq.



Spliff was given the name obveiously because of heavy marijuana smoking since he was a young boy. Music has been a big influence on his life in all aspects ex; classic rock, metal, punk, reggae, hip hop, acid rap. Drugs have been a heavy influence on his creativity. He started writing poetry at the age of 10. he slowly turned them in to songs and then started freestyling to old school instrumentals when he was smoking weed with his cousins. He quickly became interested in hip hop and formed a rap group/crew called IKS with his homeboy Nine Millz. the crew split up and slowly evolved over time. Nine Millz and Spliff are still good friends but are now solo emcees. Spliff has been rapping on and off for about 7 years all together. Poverty has forced him through alot of struggles and bullshit but he has also lived everywhere from the slums to the suburbs. Never left his small city of Worcester Massachusetts. He is trying his best to bring real hip hop back with no discrimination. Irradicating all comercial cooperate businesses taking over the main stream and turning it into a bubble gum pussy pop band show. Real needs to be recognized, and yall will sooner or later recognize Spliff Lighty.
