J.BLACK

Born May 24th, 1988, Jamal Ansah was the third child of a normal african american family in Worcester Massachusetts. At a very young age, Jamal had a fascination with stories and even told his mother that he knew he wanted to become an author when he grew up. As time would go on however those dreams would change into something much more enjoyable in his eyes. When J was in seventh grade, he joined a rap group that was forming in his school called the Muttwyilers aka the Mutts. This group consisted of many rappers ex. Mixtape Murderer, Killa Frost, Point Blank, Gosple Phlo, Qwik, Tech-G, and last but not least Pro Black; his previous alias. As years went on and high school ended, members of the group came and went with Jamal even losing touch with his rapping abilities. However, in senior year of high school, him and two former Mutts began to keep in touch and rap once again. He was convinced that this is what he was good at and what he wanted. Now under the alias J.Black, Jamal plans to make a name for himself.



"Worcester rap is definitely changing when you got artist like J-Black and Dizasta tearing up the scene. They need to drop already. We need a new era in our music and these guys got it. rappers like [CENSORED] and those other ones dont deserve awards cause there is no real movement behind these guys. The young bucks got it locked now. It’s time for that same ol sound that you hear on the radio to die and in with the new."
