He was one of the highlights of the Amsterdam Uitmarkt. Over 40.000 spectators gathered at the historic Newmarket squeare (Nieuwmarkt) to hear Atongo Zimba from Ghana. During this concert people heard him for the first time play the songs from his new album Barefoot in the Sand, nominated as African CD of the year 2007!
