DATENDRANG was founded in 2008 when Michael Frey aka Supersymmetrie and Stefan Seeliger aka Hans Muster played their first Dj set together at Topas club Zug in Switzerland. After playing back to back on many Parties around Zug as well as Zurich and Luzern they've decided to start producing their own productions and calling themselves "Datendrang". They made their first steps in producing tracks and played them sucessfully at several events. As they wanted to bring their own sound to the dancefloor, their idea of playing "live" was born. Many hours of rehearsal were necessary to create their own Datendrang sound, which they are still working on to the day of today. The liveact is suported by the visual project rec.design from zug leaded by Lukas Meier. The visual artwork by rec.design supports the sound of Datendrang in a perfect way. Each gig is a different experience, as everyithing is played live. Datendrang doesn`t just play it`s own songs, they rather perform each time from scratch. No show sounds like one before. Everything comes up as they play. Datendrang`s homebase is located at the www.soundstall.ch studio which Michael Frey owns. The location is perfect in many aspects of being creative, which often is a big bonus. Many projects will follow as Datendrang will never loose their passion for music and producing.
