This is a tutorial on one of the most improved MPC features of the MPC Renaissance & MPC Studio.
With older MPCs (MPC1K,MPC25K,MPC5000) you have to know your exact tempo of a sample for Patch Phrase to work.
On the MPC Ren/Studio software Patch Phrase of greatly simplified.
All you need to know now if how many bars your sample is.

In this video I take 5 random samples and using Patch Phrase I get them all to quickly sync to the same tempo.
With Patch phrase you can take any samples no matter what the tempo is and get them to quickly match up.
