“Suddenly” is the English version of “De Repente” http://youtu.be/54wKG7BH4MQ ; both written by Soraya and released on her 1996 albums “On Nights Like This” and “En Esta Noche.” Soraya was the first artist to release albums (four of five albums) simultaneously in English and Spanish. In Soraya’s short, but successful music career as a singer and song writer, she released five studio albums, won a 2004 Latin Grammy Award, and was nominated for a 2005 Latin Grammy. Soraya was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000.
