Laura Carrascosa is currently combining her Philosophy studies (UCM) with an Artistic Photography degree (Arte10).
As a young girl she was delighted by her father's photomontages, and the enchantment provided by her family albums.
Soon, she managed to get an SLR camera of her own: a modest Pentax k100D, with which she worked with until the age
of eighteen. Messing around with its buttons, reading books and attending some courses,
Carrascosa learnt to handle the camera well and now owns a vast assortment, from a Zeiss Ikon Coffee can (1934),
the plain Praktica MTL (1983), until the Pentax K5 (2010), among others.
She is captivated by the film 'Persona' (1966) and the absurdity that author Albert Camus dealt with in his works
(1913-1960). She also recently directed her first music video and really is looking forward to trying out other mediums.
