This video is an example of The Longest Johns singing traditional sea shanties. This one is called Haul Away Joe, version taken from Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends. We enjoy this one as it has a fair amount of shouting in it. Obviously we couldn't be too loud as it's a kitchen...

The Longest Johns are based in Thornbury, Bristol, and are a folk band specialising in traditional working songs and shanties. (They sometimes do other songs they like too, but don't tell anyone.)
