DESCRIPTION:
Three golden voices from a golden era at The Met. This trio from Attila is less well-known perhaps than the I Lombardi extract which was on the reverse side of the original 78rpm. It may, however, hold a little spot of vocal history of its own since I believe it may be the last acoustic recording made by Gigli if the date of December 1930 in Gigli's memoirs is correct. Some sources list it as being made in 1929 so perhaps some of the many experts on Youtube can help me out here. Enjoy it on its own merits though - it is great!
