DESCRIPTION:
Solar Circus was one of many bands to perform on August 20th 1995 at the New York Tribute to Jerry Garcia held at The Roxy Music Hall. Produced by Dave Ockun, and donating proceeds to The Rex Foundation, the show was a huge success receiving national media attention and being mentioned on PBS.
Solar Circus features: Mark Diomede, Tom Donovan, Jason Crosby, Charles Mitchell, and Kevin Kopack. Their set began with Dave Ockun reading a letter he received from Joan Baez after Jerry passed into Solar Circus performing to a sold out crowd. This recording with audio only is being shared for the first time in 20 years and done with permission.
