Sneaky Music is the new imprint from DJ and producer Pablo Ranacat and Andy Bird, the man behind the infamous Love Fever parties and record label.
After a great start with Silk 86 hitting the Top Ten on Deep House bestsellers charts, they now follow up with another amazing release that delivers the same level of deepness and groove. It's Ashworth and Kiwi in charge of SNKY 002 with 'Dawn EP'.

Alex Warren (Kiwi) and Joe (Ashworth) met years ago. They both DJ, run club nights, produce, and love a lot of the same music so it seemed long overdue for them to get in the studio together and collaborate.
South London based Kiwi's music combines influences from disco, funk and house. 2013 has seen Kiwi announce a string of releases upon labels such as "Needwant", "Days Of Being Wild," "Kitsuné" and Jack Savidge/Edwin Congreaves' much acclaimed "Deep Shit." Having received immediate support from Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery, and Erol Alkan, Kiwi has quickly expanded on his already hectic DJing schedule, which is grounded in his monthly 4-hour-marathon residency at The Nest in Dalston.

Ashworth is a relatively new moniker that east-London based Joe has been recording under, with the focus on underground house and techno, boiling up a similarly diverse melting pot of influences. His debut release on Baalsaal received praise and support from Dixon, DJ T and Josh Wink, and his follow-up release on Native City has been championed by Maya Jane Coles and Luke Solomun. A collaboration with Citizen will hit the shelves some time early next year on Waze & Odyssey's street tracks, and 2014 is already looking to be a busy year for Joe.

The lead track 'UCX3' is a drawn-out, gradually swelling, half-euphoric-half-pumping roller, which the guys would be happy to admit was heavily influenced by Pachanga Boys' "Time." Zubr is a haunting, mellow piece, featuring Joe attempting (in heavily edited form) to show his prowess on a 1960s Wurlitzer. The track is drenched in the accidental noise, pops and clicks involved in using something so old, and this gives the track it's comforting charm. Arguably the wild card of the release, 'Dusk,' stays clear of the drum machines, and paints a subtley epic picture with a reverb-drenched piano and folkey violin drones, all being driven forwards by an ominous pulsating Moog bass.
