Being a very successful 'studio man' and songwriter Billy Strange had little success as a solo artist. He recorded 'Diesel Smoke, Dangerous Curves' in 1952. This promotional from March 1952 didn't do much too help push the records into the charts. Nevertheless is it a classic novelty trucking-themed hillbilly song.
