About Us



Alex Leach (age 17) met Tyler (age 15) & Corey (age 12) Smith & Angel Edgemon (age 16) in March of 2006 in Rockwood, Tennessee. They became friends immediately, sharing the admiration for classic Bluegrass. Their new album was released July 7th, 2006, entitled "Alex Leach & The Smith Brothers: Into The Past." Not only do they perform the classic Bluegrass sound, but they are often complemented for the suits and ties they wear, just as Bill Monroe, Lester & Earl, and The Stanleys wore in the classic days of Bluegrass. Angel became interested in playing bass shortly after the debut album, and she now performs full time with the group and appeared on the brand new sacred album: Sacred Echoes From Red Oak Mountain. They just know how to pick that genuine Bluegrass. It's that simple!
