In 1973, Waylon Jennings released an album titled, "Honky Tonk Heros," written almost entirely by fellow Texas, Billy Joe Shaver. That album contained a bonus track called, "Slow Rollin' Low." Thirty-three years later, Pug Johnson and Jeremy Porter formed a band, and named it after Pug's hero and mentor. Once these two sixteen year olds started playing together, they never looked back. After having several artists play lead guitar, the Lows have settled down to become a threesome. The Lows decided to add Mike Reilly, a fellow Audio Engineering student to the group as bass player. With their 2nd studio CD released on March 1st, "Erie Street," quickly jumped up on Lonestar Music charts and took their previous release, "One Of These Days," with it. After spending three years honing their skills and getting out to meet the fans, The Lows are ready to bring their unique sound to the world.
