Robby Carrillo, Jack Otero, Tony Butler, and Danny Wrenn are Slick Nickel. Their roots are in practically every kind of music there is, ranging from hard rock of the 60s, jazz, blues, rock and roll, several decades of country and western music, big band era, and even classical.
They've each opened for many top performers such as Jimmy Wayne, Aaron Tippin, Mark Chestnut, Joe Diffie, Little Texas, and the Doo Wah Riders, and performed in several bands in Yuma and across the U.S., the most recent being The Apologies and Cawtcheatin. Some of the other bands the Nickel Boys have performed in over the years are Saddle Tramp, Exposure, WhiteHorse, Fastgun, Dakota, The Agitators, The Torquays, The Legends, Country Fever, The Kenny Knapp Show, The Heat, Border Guard, Peppermill Creek, Festival, Side Kick, A Touch Of Class, Renegade Rose, and many more.
These guys have been at it for years.
